Newsworthy event : News 6 Evening IndoTV, Tuesday (25/11/2014), heavy rains that occurred on Monday night 24 November eroded the ground and caused landslides that buried 6 residents' houses. A grandmother became a victim of the disaster. He did not have time to save himself because he was asleep at the time of the landslide. 

Background : Meanwhile in the Cililin area, West Bandung, West Java, a number of houses collapsed due to heavy rains that eroded the residential land. This incident resulted in a 5-year-old boy being buried under the rubble of a house, while his father was seriously injured and had to undergo treatment at the Cililin Hospital. 

Events Sources : “The landslide disaster also occurred in Rumbai Pesisir District, Pekan Baru, Riau. The landslide caused a school building to collapse due to being buried in the ground. This incident forced the school to dismiss its students until conditions began to improve. In addition to landslides, thousands of houses were flooded due to the overflow of the Siak River. Luckily there were no casualties in this incident.
